Use Cases

  1. Age-Restricted Communities

    • Communities that need to ensure members meet a minimum age requirement (e.g., 18+) for compliance or maturity reasons.

    • Examples include adult-themed groups, financial/investment groups with age limitations, or gaming communities requiring legal age thresholds.

  2. Token-Holder Exclusive Groups

    • Groups that want to limit membership to people holding certain amounts of xUDT tokens or CKB.

    • Ideal for NFT or DeFi projects that provide token-gated “insider” discussions, presale channels, or VIP events.

  3. Premium Membership and Loyalty Programs

    • Used by projects offering higher-tier benefits or advanced content to members who hold above a certain token balance.

    • Automatically grants entry to verified premium holders and revokes access if token holdings fall below the threshold.

  4. Community Growth with Quality Control

    • Helps keep out spammers, bots, and users who don’t meet the group’s criteria, improving conversation quality.

    • Newcomers must verify via an on-chain wallet and meet age or token requirements, fostering a safer environment.

  5. Time-Sensitive or Event-Based Access

    • Temporary or event-driven channels (e.g., exclusive AMAs) can require verification just for that timeframe.

    • Once the event ends or criteria change, VeriX can enforce re-verification or remove unqualified users automatically.
